Spring fair

It's official! Finally it's SPRIIIING!!! Here in Trento we celebrate the end of the winter and the coming of the new season with a big fair (the biggest in the region!) held in the city centre. The streets of the old town are full of stalls, selling everything from clothing, leather goods and homewares to typical food, seasonal fruit and many many plants, flowers and fresh herbs to plant in gardens. The Cathedral Square is transformed into a big garden and with such a sunny day it was so colorful to see all these flowers and plants together. We couldn't NOT buy some for our apartment.

In 2 days we are off to London, where we guess spring isn't right round the corner...and heavy jackets are in the suitcase, ready to be worn! :)

Snowshoe walking

This winter we really had a lot of snow. So this weekend Ely and I decided to go up in the mountiains and enjoy all this snow having a walk near Madonna di Campiglio with snowshoes. We departed from the cross-country skiing center and arrived at Malga Vigo after a 1h and 30' of walking in a white scenary with an incredible view of the Dolomites in the background. We also stopped for a pic-nic on the snow and sunbathed in the hope to catch a little tan (in the end we were quite reddish! oops!!).
