Finally...HOLIDAY!!!

The waiting hasn't been over yet, but in a week Ely and I are leaving for the long-waited SUMMER HOLIDAY! This year we are going on holiday with a couple of Ely's friends: Valeria and Giorgia. I think it will be fun! The place for the holiday will be Sardinia, which Ely and I have never visited before. It's a long drive to arrive to Capo Testa, right at the top of the island, but fortunately I like driving. Here is our trip plan:


We are leaving next Friday at about noon. We're driving down to Tuscany, where we are spending the rest of the day and the day after. We'll do some sightseeings and maybe we'll go to the beach too. Then, we are boarding the boat for Corse (France) from Livorno on Saturday, Aug, 4th at 8.30pm. We'll arrive in Bastia (France) after 4 hours. In Corse we'll drive down to Bonifacio, the far end at the bottom of the island, where we'll board another boat that will take us, in less than an hour, back to Italy, in the beautiful Sardinia.

We'll spend 10 days in the beautiful area near Capo Testa, where Ely's friend, Valeria, has the use of her grandparent's holiday house.

On the way back home, we'll stop over 3 days in Corse, and then we'll follow the same route to Trento.

So, we'll be away from home from Aug, 4th until Aug, 20th.
Once returned, we'll share our holiday experience and photos with all of you, my friends!

Caneva world resort

Quello che è appena trascorso è stato certamente 1 fine settimana fantastico...Ne avevo estremo bisogno!!! Un ringraziamento particolare per la splendida riuscita va ai miei amichetti di avventure Mariello (ovviamente) Vale e Giò... senza i quali non sarebbe stato tutto così divertente!!! ^__^
Il Sabato mattina, incuranti del traffico di vacanzieri che si dirigeva verso il lago di Garda, abbiamo deciso di andare al Caneva.
Il sole scottava.. e nonostante l'abbondante uso di tubetti di creme abbronzanti.. a sera siamo arrivati a casa tutti belli sbruciacchiati!!!!
Dopo la chiusura del parco, verso le d19... dato che i pancini brontolavano siamo andati a mangiare in un posto molto carino e super starno... proprio appena fuori dal parco...Un certo rock and roll restaurant...
Lo stile è quello dell Hard Rock ma qui si paga un fisso di 15euro e si può mangiare e bere tutto quello che si desidera...Tutte cibi non molto sani e genuini se dobbiamo proprio dire la verità ma assolutamente squisiti... e poi 1 volta tanto qualche strappetto lo si deve fare nooo?
Ormai satolli... verso le 22.00 siamo tornati alla macchina dove, salutate le amichette (che tornavano verso Trento), ci siamo rimessi in macchina alla volta di Pieve i Bono.
La domenica è stata trascorsa ad oziare amabilmente a casa dei nonni del mariello... dormendo fino alle 11.30... magiando la squisita polenta carbonera dello zio Mario e passeggiando romanticamente tra le vie del paese...
Inomma... non si poteva desiderare di meglio...Un fine settimana davvero kittoso!!!!

7-7-07 LIVE EARTH's day

Today is a worldwide special date, because in all the continets people is united in a unique big event: LIVE EARTH, the concert for the climate in crisis. I really really like this happening because I really do think that music is an international language beyond all the differencies in cultures and customs, and that in this way all the people in the world feel close and agree that we need to make a change to save the planet. As far as I'm concerned, I do all what's possible to help: dividing waste, recycling, saving energy and water in different ways. At the beginning it seems like a little effort of one person or one family can't make the difference, but if we all do the same, in the long term, it will definetely make the difference and we'll have a better world and a healed enviroment.

Fresh Flowers

My parents have just returned from their summer holiday and when today they decided to visit us they have brought me some wonderful pink fresh flowers to celebrate (even with some delay) my B-day...I'm soooo happy... I miei genitori sono appena tornati dalle loro vacanze estive e per farsi perdonare di non essere stati presenti il giorno del mio compleanno si sono presentati alla mia porta con un fantastico mazzo di fiori rosa...Adoro il rosa... è in assoluto il mio colore preferito... e naturalmente come quasi tutte le donne adoro i fiori!!! It's Ely's 25th Birthday today! We celebrated it with some friends in a nice park, just outside the city. It was the perfect location for fun, outdoor games and having a pic-nic all together.

Oggi la Lelina compie i suoi primi...25 anni! 1/4 di secolo!!! Abbiamo festeggiato al parco "Bosco della città" e ci siamo proprio divertiti. Un vero mega pic-nic per festeggiare la nostra "piccola" Lelina!!! BUON COMPLEANNO!!! -Mario

Dal Giappone con amore!!!!

Effettivamente è 1 po' che non mi dedico al nostro blog ma ho dei motivi più che validi...Abbiamo avuto 1 sacco di lavori in casa negli ultimi 15 giorni....(rinnovato la cucina e finalmente il falegname si è degnato di consegnarci le porte...)In più in mezzo al caos totale ho dovuto trovare il tempo per studiare perchè tra pochi giorni ho 1 esame importante...

Una cosa però volevo proprio farvela vedere pechè è arrivata ieri direttamente dal Japan e devo dire che ne vado super fiera ;P

Dato che abbiamo la cucina nuova io e Mariello abbiamo comperato alcuni accessori kittosi per rendere più divertenti i nostri pranzetti.... ed eccoli a voi in tuto il loro splendore...
Quelli più a destra sono delle scatoline per mettere le salsine quando facciamo i "Bento" per mangiare fuori casa...Quelli 1 po' più grandi al centro sono dei "rice mold" per fare delle palline di riso a forma di kitty (mi sembra che in gergo si chiamino onigiri o qlc del genere) e l'ultimo a destra è 1 "egg mold" per fare le uova sode a forma di kitty!!! Non sono 1 meraviglia?Capisco che pochi di voi capiranno il mio entusiasmo ma volevo condividere il mio nuovo e singolare shopping con voi!!!!

Sembra solo ieri... quel magico momento in cui i nostri sguardi si sono incrociati per la primissima volta...Chi l'avrebbe mai detto che quel momento avrebbe cambiato per sempre la mia vita?Sono passati 6 anni...attraverso momenti meravigliosi e momenti più tristi... ma io ho affrontato tutto con coraggio e con il sorriso nel cuore perchè accanto a me avevo (e sempre avrò) un meraviglioso principe dagli occhi azzurri!!!!
