It has been a while since we have posted the last 10 on 10... but during these days we really have had a lot to do!!! Now that the jet leg is passed (finally we can sleap all the night long) our days are full of things to do. Our new job is amazing! Everyday I can learn something different and even if it's difficult I find it extremely challenging!!!! After all, working with my sweetheart Mario is wonderful... I can't imagine a better way to spend my work days!Another good thing is that we are trying to find some free time for our health... so we have found a nice gym near our home and we would like to be there at least 2 or 3 times a week. Intentions are good... we will see if it will turn into reality from next Monday on...!!!
What else????? Oh yes... Last weekend we made a big family reunion in Romeno, a little village in Non Valley where my father (Ely's writing...) is originally from. It was an occasion to see all the relatives, but in particular my two uncles who are christian catholic missionaries in Africa and in Brazil... We were about 50 people just from my father's side and we spent the day happily together .... eating, singing, talking and playing...remembering our mother, grandmother and (my) great grandmother Paola who left us in 2005 at the extraordinary age of 102!! Sorry no pictures of the party because it was too cold to find the concentration to take some shots....Autumn is definitely here!!! BRRRRRR.... we also made a fire...
(Mario's writing) After I returned home from US and I started the new businness with my father and Ely, I have definitely changed my life! It made me realize that I have had 3 very hard years in whose I have learned a lot about my profession, but also have sacrified a lot in terms of personal freedom...Now I have even more duties and work is more, but I make it with a better mood, a prospective to increase the businness with my lovely Ely and have also my privite life! It's not really downshifting, but something like that!!!! ;)
We are enjoying and appreciating the place where we live. Who is reading and is living here or has been here visiting us, knows that Trento is quite a small town, with quite not too much to do, but it's anyway a nice place where to live. It's surprising me sometimes, when I walk around and after all this time I'm living here, I still see something I didn't notice before. Sometimes particulars make the difference...and show a place in a way we never considered it. It's hard to explain, but it's what I felt just recently, after a walk in the city centre with Ely...it's nice sometimes to take the time and be "tourists" in the place where you live. This is what we did...
These are a couple of shots of Trento...
More to come!
